REV4NY was a NY state initiative that helped consumers make more informed energy choices, develop new energy products and services, and protect the environment while creating new jobs.
I led the web development for this project and directed a team of designers in its creation.
A feature of this web design was its interactive map showcasing energy projects across NY state. This map included animations and the implementation of a custom fusion table which was used to populate over 300 project blurbs within the map.
This map was optimized for tablet use so that it could be featured at tradeshows and encourage visitor interactions.
Another feature of this web design was its double navigation. It was a requirement that it match the existing branding across all ny.gov websites and nest the site as a subdomain.
